A little History...

Harold met Tom in seventh grade (Tom didn't meet Harold until the eighth grade because Harold was very shy). They began writing and performing comedy skits in the seventh grade. Their hard work finally paid off when, in their junior year, people actually began laughing at their skits.

After making a Teens Encounter Christ (TEC) retreat, Tom and Harold introduced a Christian message into their already wholesome humor. In a very short time, Tom and Harold had developed quite a few skits. As Tom remembers it, the people at TEC suggested that they take their act on the road. As Harold remembers it, the people at TEC asked if they could go do their comedy somewhere else! Either way, Tom and Harold felt God's urging and the New Life Players were born.

Since their first show in December of 1982, Tom and Harold have successfully performed for thousands of people throughout southern Minnesota.
